Will this robot be able to overcome door thresholds that are about 2.5 cm high? Unfortunately, our door frames also go along the floor...

A 2.5 cm high threshold is probably a bit too high. I have a carpet about 2 cm high and my S6 can only manage it after several attempts. In general, I don't know of any ordinary robot hoover that is guaranteed to overcome such a high obstacle...
