Yes, I can only agree with the fruit lid. It's a shame when an otherwise well thought-out product has such a flaw. The ring is made of plastic, I thought that it wouldn't work the first time I looked at it, and if I'm aware of that, the manufacturer should be aware of it too (or at least have noticed it in a test). A high-quality rubber ring that can be replaced would be great!
