Obsidian is a very elegant blanket with a matching neck cover. The anatomical cut and padding in the withers area slightly lift the blanket to relieve pressure and increase comfort.

The blanket is available in three different thicknesses: the basic version without padding, a slightly thicker version with 150 g of padding, and a warm version with 300 g of padding to meet the demands of cold winter conditions.

Both the blanket and the neck warmer are made from a breathable, water-repellent outer layer and an inner layer of woven Welltex® fabric, which closely resembles the horse's coat. The smooth surface of the lining protects against friction, and the fabric provides intense and strong reflection of infrared energy.

Due to the sheer size of the blanket, Welltex® can exert its therapeutic effect over a large area of the horse's body. Obsidian can help stimulate blood circulation in all major and important muscle groups, making it an excellent choice before and after any activity, as well as during rest and recovery.

The blanket is secured in place by double buckles at the chest, crossed surcingles, and a plastic-coated tail cord with D-rings.
