The Black Diamond Couloir is a highly compressible climbing harness with full functionality that can be folded down to the size of an orange, making it easy to fit in a backpack or jacket pocket. It is ideal for steep snow slopes, short rappels, and glacier terrain. The Couloir has been updated with breathable, flat Dynex monofilament webbing of varying widths, which is ultralight and durable. The easily adjustable harness features a speed buckle at the waist and leg loops that allow for easy on and off while wearing skis or crampons. The Couloir is also equipped with our patented Infinity Loop for securing. It is durable, flat, and prevents the discomfort of the belay loop slipping when the seam gets caught. Four Ice Clipper slots with an integrated ice screw attachment on each leg loop prevent gear from clanging together during long approaches or glacier crossings. Two gear loops made of webbing secure extra carabiners and other equipment.
