The Black Diamond HotForge Screwgate is a versatile, lightweight, and compact locking carabiner. Thanks to its hot-forged construction, we were able to reduce weight while adding material where durability is most important. Its flat nose prevents snagging and provides good handling when clipping and unclipping. The HotForge, ideal for belaying, top roping, and other situations, features the geometry required for a clove hitch and has been designed as a reliable and durable locking carabiner for everyday climbing.

Easy to clip and unclip, with a Keylock nose.
