This double-jointed ring bit features solid stainless steel rings and a mouthpiece made of soft iron with a coating (blue). The soft iron coating on the mouthpiece stimulates saliva production. When this material reacts with moisture, heat, and air in an oxidation process, the surface rust has a sweet taste. This enhances the acceptance of the bit. Eventually, the blue color fades, but the taste of the surface rust remains.

The anatomical design conforms to the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a gentle and even distribution of pressure. In a double-jointed canon, the bit consists of three parts, with the middle part lying flat on the tongue. This results in more pressure on the tongue compared to a single-jointed canon. The thicker the middle piece, the greater the pressure on the tongue. Thickness of the canon is 14 mm. Ring bit diameter is 65 mm.
