With the Dragon Cams, DMM has introduced a two-axis active camming device that offers a constant camming angle of 13.75° for optimal grip and is equipped with an extendable 8mm Dyneema sling, allowing for flexible use with just one additional carabiner. The Welsh company has equipped its Dragon Cams with four hot-forged cam segments, which are mounted on two axes. This makes the mobile protection devices slightly heavier at first glance compared to single-axis cams, but the camming range in double-axis systems is significantly larger. The operation is comfortable and precise, and as always, the hot-forged quality "made in Wales" is impressive.
