Anorak No. 8 is designed for demanding outdoor use year-round. The hood is adjustable, allowing it to fit snugly around the face. Thanks to a new visor construction, the visor can be bent back in two stages, depending on whether maximum wind protection or more visibility to the sides is desired. When lowered, the hood forms a high collar that perfectly warms the neck and throat. In warmer weather, the front zipper can be opened, and the wedge at the opening can be unbuttoned and folded back to release excess heat. The anorak also features long zippers on the sides that can be opened for ventilation and easy on-and-off. The large kangaroo pocket in the front is accessible from above and the sides. A drawstring at the back adjusts the waist width, while another drawstring at the front regulates the hem width. The sleeve cuffs have button closures. The anorak is made from wind- and water-resistant G-1000 Eco, a material made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. The shoulder area, sleeves, and extended back hem are made from extra durable G-1000 HeavyDuty. Materials and details have been chosen to minimize environmental impact – for example, most leather details are made from leather waste – and exposed parts can be easily replaced after years of use.
