G-1000 is a durable and adaptable material from Fjällräven. The dense fabric is wind and water resistant, very durable, yet extremely breathable and quick drying. It is made from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, waxed with a thin layer of Greenland Wax. The wax provides extra protection against dirt, wind, and moisture, and can be applied thicker or washed out as needed. In addition to wind and weather protection, G-1000 also guards against harmful sun rays and insect bites.
