Product details

Versatile mountaineering boots for technical use. The Tower 3.0 GTX by Garmont are high mountain boots designed for technically demanding activities in high altitudes or snowshoe hiking. Made from extremely robust and weather-resistant materials, they offer excellent protection and secure grip. The Lenzi-Putek upper material is highly durable and long-lasting. Reinforcements at the edges and heel area provide additional protection and stability. The Ortholite Ultra insole ensures a soft and comfortable step even on long distances. The sole construction is optimized for secure footing on rough terrain and features a crampon groove in the heel area. The Vibram outsole is characterized by an extremely grippy profile. The Tower 3.0 GTX includes recycled materials and is equipped with a PFC-free membrane.

No other boot manages the balance between comfort and performance on rock and ice as well as the lightweight Garmont (1370 g). This is mainly due to the top fit: the lower part secures the foot, the upper part allows freedom of movement. The sole is also impressive: on the approach with easy rolling and when scrambling with top edge stiffness, precision and sensitivity. Price: 340 euros.
