The "Tube" made of soft TPU protects the polyurethane responsible for excellent and long-lasting cushioning. At the same time, internal TPU ribs and reinforcements provide stability and precise guidance. The outsole impresses with Vibram Integral Light profile design, as well as a reinforced heel front and proven Vibram "Mont Compound" for excellent downhill traction. Additionally, the climbing zone of this partially crampon-compatible model is reinforced with TPU, providing perfect edge stability in the toe area. What else sets the Ferrata Tour GTX apart? Its classic leather lower part offers a perfect fit, paired with a stable yet flexible shaft made of particularly abrasion-resistant nylon and polyurethane yarns. This allows for the necessary freedom of movement in the ankle joint to step precisely on the rock. For high-altitude use, the toe area is specially insulated - GORE-TEX Duratherm ensures maximum thermal insulation. An additional insole allows for volume adjustment and individual customization of the shoe. The Alpine Wide last also provides a slightly wider forefoot area for added comfort, without compromising climbing performance and precision in the toe-off.
