The brand new NEO has been specifically designed for demanding mono-skiers who seek quick acceleration, rapid deceleration, and fast turns, and then repeat the whole process six times! The NEO features a wider front profile in relation to its narrower tail, allowing the rider to control the rear part of the ski throughout the entire turn. While the ski is slightly narrower at the front and under the binding compared to the ION 2, the NEO boasts the widest bevel from edge to edge and the deepest concave of all previous D3 skis. The additional concave volume means more initial acceleration and better deceleration when you need it with a short line length. The bevels are larger than those of the ION 2 and the NRG R2, which means the ski sits a bit deeper in the water, resulting in greater stability and feel.
