Product details
When the ground is softer or the weather is wetter, the choice falls on the Forekaster. The medium-height studs have an even spacing, allowing them to grip perfectly on trails with loose layers over firm ground. The tread pattern is designed to be more open compared to other racing tires for better self-cleaning in wet conditions. The wide, notched center studs provide excellent braking on slippery single trails. With the Forekaster, you are perfectly equipped for the trails in any weather.
Tubeless Ready tires have many advantages. You can ride with lower air pressure, which allows for better traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. The bead of the Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a true UST tubeless tire. This ensures that tubeless mounting on all standard-sized rims is successful right from the first inflation and with minimal sealant. Regular Maxxis MTB tires can also be mounted with sealant, as the casing fabric is very dense. However, only the new Maxxis TR models are officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by Maxxis. The tubeless mounting of other models is done at your own risk.
This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains impressively good. Dual Compound: Two different rubber mixtures are processed into a tread strip. Maxxis arranges the mixtures according to the desired characteristics of the tires.
Intended use: MTB. Medium-height studs with even spacing. Pressure (Bar): 2.5 Bar - 4.1 Bar.
