The Navtex Pro Plus from Nasa Marine is an international system for disseminating maritime safety information, falling under the GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System). Reception occurs via radio using dual-frequency Navtex at 490 kHz (in the language of the country you are navigating near) and 518 kHz (in English only).
