The BDU field trousers "Landscape" with "2-in-1 Tec Zip System" function, consists of a robust material mix of cotton and polyester. The cotton provides the natural feel, while the synthetic fiber material consistently wicks away moisture to the outside. The rip-stop fabric embedded in the outer material is a very fine one and can be recognized by its special rake-box structure. Every few millimeters, a stronger warp or weft thread runs through the fabric. Should the material tear, the tear does not run unchecked through the entire surface, but stops at the stronger ripstop thread. The material thus regenerates its enormous tear strength and robustness. The material is also wind- and water-repellent and quick-drying after contact with water, as well as wrinkle-resistant. It can withstand more than a short summer rain. The zippers in the knee area allow the lower trouser legs to be detached. The pant legs can then be stowed in the spacious cargo pockets. The leg pockets as well as the back pockets are closable with buttons and covered by a flap. The waistband width is adjustable at the sides, and the opening has a concealed button placket. At the ends of the legs are drawstrings, with which the pants can be tightened at the ankle. The material has a sun protection factor of 30+. Thus, the pants can be worn even in warmer, sun-intensive regions. In the evening twilight, the trouser legs are zipped back in thanks to the practical "2-in-1 Tec Zip System" and protect against insect bites. Due to this flexible handling, one saves carrying another pair of pants and is still appropriately dressed at all times.
