KingSmith WR1
Very poor device. The only positive is the size - it is very compact and can be easily hidden in the apartment.
I personally tested two units. The first one was bought in Galaxus. Broke after 1 week, about 3 workouts (water tank screw came loose). I returned it to Galaxus and got a full refund (kudos to the store).
Then, after a month, I received the Kingsmith Indiegogo campaign unit (although I never received it, which is why I bought it here). This unit lasted 6 months. After that it also got damaged (same as the first unit). I tried to repair it but then something else broke. In the end I recycled it (sorry, indiegogo no guarantee from Kingsmith) and bought Concept2 for which I found somewhere in the basement.
It's a nice concept, but the quality and some design flaws are terrible.
However, once it worked, I noticed the following:
- resistance is ok but there is no option to increase it (as in Concept2)
- there was a noticeable jump and noise when sliding on the rail with the seat
- after about 15-20 minutes of training, the device starts to make an awfully loud pitch noise - it probably needs some oil on the moving parts
- after a long training of 60 minutes, sometimes I noticed a little water from the tank on the floor
In general, avoid this article at all costs. Do yourself a favor and buy a good rower.

I got a 10% discount on my product to compensate for the defects but I still think the product is too expensive for what it is.

The container is not watertight. The water, which we are advised to dye with the blue product supplied to prevent stagnation, comes out through the leaky seal. The carpet has been marked by the water and the dye, and each turn of the paddle expels water from the Container.
