Unlike a dirt bike, the new Monarch Plus shock does not have a rev limiter. With its exemplary lightweight design, the Monarch combines a completely new Solo Air system and a shock design similar to that of the Vivid Air, allowing the Plus to tackle all-mountain trails as if it were born for downhill. In other words, you'll need quite a bit of braking power to slow down this freight train. So it might be time to consider upgrading to four-piston brakes for your ride.
