The Alpinist Alu Step-In is a lightweight aluminum crampon with anti-balling plates designed for easy alpine tours in summer and winter, with little or no contact with rock. It is ideal for use on snow and ice, not overly demanding, suitable for glaciers and classic mountaineering up to moderate altitudes. It is compatible with boots that are absolutely crampon-compatible thanks to the front attachment and rear lever. Compatible with rigid boots with notches at the front and back. Offers better precision on rock and ice. Also suitable for ski touring boots.
