Technology: Exact Actuation. When introducing road bike technologies, SRAM relied on the proven SRAM MTB 1:1 gear ratio for 11-speed shifting (cable pull : derailleur movement). Exact Actuation helps create a simpler and more stable balance between the design of the derailleur hanger, tight cog spacing, and precise cable tension. The result: a shifting system that is incredibly easy to use.
