2434 Olive Bradoon with Stainless Steel Stübben Double Broken from Sweet Copper
A Bradoon is used in combination with a bridle. The difference between a Bradoon and a classic bit lies in its thickness and the size of the rings.
The olive Bradoon is characterized by a fixed lateral ring. The sides are designed to be positioned about one centimeter closer to the corner of the mouth than a snaffle bit. The olive head prevents pinching of the mouth corners in the rings. The horse cannot push the bit back with its tongue, allowing the bit to lie more quietly in the mouth and providing slightly more lateral stability. Since the ring does not rotate, there is a somewhat more direct effect with a gentle influence on the neck. However, the difference compared to a snaffle bit is not noticeable for the horse or most riders.
The double broken bit distributes pressure evenly on the tongue and lips. The olive head offers slight stabilization and lateral guidance, creating calmness and stability in the horse's mouth. The pleasantly flavored Sweet Copper is particularly well accepted by horses and encourages chewing.
