The Range-BC is the advanced version of Atlas's proven high-performance snowshoes for adventure-seeking backcountry enthusiasts. The innovative design is based on the new, one-piece Reactiv-TracT frame with integrated, serrated aluminum traction rails. They are extremely lightweight yet stable, providing optimal traction for backcountry excursions. The lightweight and flat BC crampon made of hardened steel adds necessary grip on the traction rails, ensuring stability in variable snow conditions above the tree line. The PackFlatT binding of the Range-BC is designed for larger mountain and snowboard boots and features a replaceable Z-strap made of polyurethane that securely holds the foot even in rugged terrain. When not in use, the snowshoes can be easily and efficiently stored thanks to the PackFlat binding. The design is completed with a 19° heel lift, which reduces calf fatigue and strain on the tendons during steep ascents.
