Criticism of Digitec's dispatch. My neighbour ordered the scooter the Friday before last. Collection is not possible for this item. The scooter was supposed to be delivered to my shop on Monday (as my neighbour works during the week, as presumably most of us do). neighbour works during the week like probably most of us) but it wasn't delivered. On Tuesday nothing arrived until 4pm. I called the post office and they said it would probably be delivered around 7pm, I had to stay an extra 2 hours longer to receive the parcel. Not everyone has the opportunity to have things sent to the shop. What then? Should I take a day off and wait at home and hope that the goods arrive? Or take the risk if the postman leaves it outside the door that it will be taken away? There are certainly products that cannot be picked up by car, such as a huge TV, but this product now fits easily into any average car. It would therefore be nice if only the items that really pose a problem were excluded from collection.
