Hello I need one (or 2) of the 'rubber ring' which is necessary to clamp the bar in the door frame without major damage. Does anyone have a tip where I can get them? I don't want to buy a new rod just because of this, if at all possible.

You could print them yourself from TPU with a 3D printer. Maybe you know someone in your neighbourhood with a 3d printer or you can get them printed relatively cheaply by people who offer such things.
