This is due to the subterranean quality of Vmax and the complete absence of quality control. My VX4 had half a dozen defects after unpacking. Your only option is to make use of the "service" and then be patient.
Either way, you shouldn't even try to repair anything yourself. The scooter is absurdly expensive, so don't make any compromises and insist on flawless goods.
