Question about Dometic Tropicool TCX

What does operation in the "tilted" position mean? As the ventilation is at the front, it would be practical to have the ventilation facing upwards when the boot is full. Is that possible?

Hello Bholowka, the ventilation openings are at the front (propeller) and in the front area on the left and right side. All connections are at the front. So theoretically it should be possible to operate the box upright. However, the lid cannot be locked, it could swing open and would have to be secured somehow.

Unfortunately, I can't say what upright operation means for the built-in technology and longevity. We only operate it horizontally.

But the chest is great and has a strong cooling capacity. We would buy it again at any time.

Best regards
