Why are all menu items non-functional/locked? Pin Lock doesn't even work???

Helpful answer
The standard PIN is 1234. To activate it, you have to set "Password enable" in the menu to "Yes", then enter the new code and press and hold the "Gear" button for several seconds. In many cases, however, this does not work reliably, presumably due to a firmware error or input problem. A solution may be a firmware update or consultation with VMAX support.
