The 3M heat shrink telecommunications joint and branching kit FVAM is suitable for all filled and unfilled telecommunications and signal cables without pressure monitoring. The kit complies with the technical delivery conditions of Deutsche Telekom AG. The included protective insert serves as a vapor barrier as well as protection for the cable splice against excessive heat exposure and mechanical damage. An outer coating on the sleeve with temperature indicator color shows the completion of the shrinking process through a color change. A non-corrosive closure rail prevents the sleeve from opening or distorting during shrinking.

The delivery scope of the joint and branching kit includes a heat-shrinkable sleeve with temperature indicator color, closure rail, protective insert, shield connector and connection cable, cable cleaning cloth, sandpaper, and assembly instructions. A branching system is not included in the delivery.
