The face protection system of the V5 series is compatible with the 3M safety helmets G3000 and G22, as well as with the 3M integrated full-view safety glasses for helmets V6, the 3M PELTOR earmuffs, and hearing protection headsets. The face protection also provides enhanced protection from high-speed particles from the front and sides. The face shield can be quickly and easily combined with the face shield holder by snapping it in place.
