Abus

Origin has a future. Our anniversary padlock is a fusion of our best-selling padlock 83/45 Eighty Three and the unique character of our original padlock The Iron Rock. To celebrate our 100th anniversary, ABUS has developed the Iron Rock 83/45 - a commemorative product that represents our history while also making our customers' everyday lives sustainably safer. With the Iron Rock 83/45 padlock, we rely on proven ABUS quality and patented features combined with the distinctive design of our Limited Edition. The robust original padlock made of sheet metal and steel, which the Bremickers named Iron Rock, was the starting point and pioneer of an entire company history. 100 years of experience reflect both change and innovation. The engraving on the Iron Rock 83/45 serves as a reminder, charmingly and subtly referencing the founding year of 1924.

Key features of the anniversary product at a glance: The Iron Rock 83/45 is designed for those who want to effectively secure doors, gates, or objects. The robust 45 mm brass lock with a high-quality precision pin cylinder reliably protects your belongings from unauthorized access or entry. A NANO PROTECT™ coating also prevents rust damage on the shackle made of special steel, for example, when used outdoors. When you want to lock the Iron Rock 83/45 padlock, there are two options: either the lock automatically closes by pressing the shackle down into the lock body, or you can independently set a locking mechanism by installing a tiny metal part called the "Z-Bar." This ensures that locking can only occur with the use of a key. The Iron Rock 83/45 padlock comes with two keys included.
