The thermo differential detector detects emerging fires and flames. It responds to a maximum temperature and a temperature rise. These indicators are reliably detected and reported to the alarm control center. The thermo differential detector is mounted on the ceiling in the center of the room. The minimum distance to the side wall is 30 cm. Since the thermo differential detector does not detect smoke, unlike optical smoke detectors, it is primarily used in areas with high dust and smoke exposure (kitchens, smoking rooms, garages). An alarm is triggered only when a maximum temperature of 60 degrees Celsius is exceeded or when the temperature rises by more than 5 degrees Celsius within 3 minutes. By adjusting a jumper, you can configure it as a NO or NC detector, making it compatible with any wired alarm system. The thermo differential detector is powered externally with 12 V operating voltage and is EN54 certified.
