Easy Operation
To activate or deactivate, simply hold the chip in front of the control panel or central unit. The user no longer needs to remember a PIN code, which significantly simplifies authorization for the system. The proximity key allows for easy and convenient activation and deactivation of the ABUS Secvest and Terxon alarm systems.

Function
Using proximity technology, the coil integrated in the key transmits the respective code when brought close to a receiving device. This allows for clear user authentication almost effortlessly – without entering a PIN and without having to swipe the key through a reader. The proximity key receives the power for code transmission from the radio field of the receiving device, meaning the key operates without its own battery.

Installation and Programming
The chip key is programmed into the alarm control panel. The authorization programming is then done directly at the control panel.
