The wireless opening detector is a component of the Secvest 2WAY and is also suitable for the Terxon with a wireless expansion module. Unauthorized opening of doors and windows is detected by a magnetic contact and reported to the wireless alarm control panel. The optimal installation location for the wireless opening detector is in the center of your door or window frame. It is also possible to install it on the lower window frame if the window is to be tilted while the magnetic contact is secured. The wireless opening detector consists of a detector and a magnet. These are installed parallel to each other at a distance of between 3 and 10 mm. The detector triggers an alarm as soon as this distance increases. The wireless opening detector for the Secvest 2WAY is available in elegant white and brown. When connecting additional wired zones, you can choose between NC wiring and DEOL wiring. The latter includes a line resistor and an alarm resistor in the delivery. You can connect the additional reporting zone, for example, to a passive glass break detector. This way, you not only protect the window from unauthorized opening but are also alerted in case of glass breakage. Further settings, such as disabling the LED or using the detector as a pure wireless module, are possible with jumper bridges.
