The two-component system allows every musician to create their own personalized hearing protection. Simply mix the two separately delivered materials (non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and EPA-approved), press them into your ears, wait 12 minutes, and you're done! The NIH (National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders) has calculated the following sound pressure-dependent attenuation values: - Silence - 0 dB - A whisper - 15 dB - Normal conversation - 60 dB - A lawnmower - 90 dB - A car horn - 110 dB - A rock concert or a jet engine - 120 dB - A gunshot or fireworks - 140 dB.
