With integrated door handle control, the locks of the EL 560 model series feature a split handle rose and thus require an inside handle (or panic bar) and an outside handle. The lock is activated by a signal from a card reader, code lock, timer, button, etc. The bolt is retracted by the engaged outside handle, releasing the locking of the deadbolt. When closing the door, the control latch interacts with the deadbolt to prevent the preloaded bolt from extending and locks the deadbolt, serving as an additional locking mechanism. The adjustment for the panic side and the selection between holding and working current can be made at the lock if necessary. The operating nominal voltage is 12 - 24 V DC.

Working current version: As long as the power is on, the lock can also be opened via the outside handle. However, when power is turned off (or in case of a power failure), the outside handle is inactive.

Holding current version: As long as no power is supplied (or in case of a power failure), the lock can also be opened via the outside handle. However, when power is restored, the outside handle is inactive.
