Bananaz is a Dutch manufacturer of premium hearing protectors. It was founded by two musicians from Amsterdam who realized early on that loudness can negatively affect hearing ability. Music-related hearing loss occurs when you expose your ears to loud noise for too long. Noise-induced hearing loss can be temporary or permanent. It is caused by sounds that are too loud over a long or even short period. Tiny hair-like structures that sit on hair cells in the inner ear (stereocilia) can be damaged by excessively loud and/or prolonged sounds.
