This combination of a switch and socket with protective contact and flap cover is suitable for surface mounting and has an IP55 protection rating. It is designed for vertical installation and allows for separate connections of the switch and socket. The terminal blocks provide an entry for two wires as well as an entry for a cable or pipe. A full-area seal under the housing base ensures the sealing of the rear of the housing. The flap cover closes flush and locks manually to achieve the IP55 protection degree. The housings feature easily accessible, funnel-shaped mounting holes. A Wago 2-wire connection terminal for wiring is included, along with two snap-in places for Wago 2-wire connection terminals in the housing base. There is ample space for wiring under the sockets of the inserts (hollow base), and the installation of the insert in the housing is easily done by snapping it in. The frame is securely fixed to the housing using a bayonet quick-release mechanism. The connection terminals comply with VDE 0620 and the design standard DIN 49440.
