The fingerprint sensor has live finger recognition, and the keypad features illuminated buttons for easy use in the dark. Operation is via push buttons with a pleasant feel. Secure data transmission uses AES encryption, exchanged via the modern Bluetooth standard 5.2 LE, with a range of up to 4 meters. The keypad is weatherproof and has protection class IP43.
