Product details
The Cadillock technology is an efficient and secure electronic anti-theft system that interrupts the vehicle's power supply through its patented immobilizer function. After the Cadillock alarm is activated, a voltage of approximately 12 volts remains available, providing a current of 10 A (depending on the battery). These values are sufficient to secure the vehicle's stored electronic data and do not impair the functionality of the control units. Additionally, electrical vehicle data (such as onboard computer, navigation system, etc.) are not deleted – however, starting the engine is not possible. The Cadillock alarm, the flagship model of the Cadillock series, combines the immobilizer function with a modern and powerful alarm system. This combination of two security techniques offers users double theft protection: the alarm system deters intruders, while the immobilizer function prevents the vehicle from being started. The alarm system monitors the interior, doors, hood, and trunk. In principle, the Cadillock alarm can be installed in all 12-volt vehicles where the positive and negative terminals of the car battery are easily accessible.
