Pressing pliers with exchangeable press profile inserts, which are fixed in the pliers body by a snap-in holder, allow for profile changes within seconds without the use of additional tools. Two further press profiles that are not currently in use are stored in the two integrated magazine holders of the pliers legs to prevent loss. The pliers body is made of strong, specially tempered, hardened sheet steel, featuring lever transmission for low manual effort, an adjustable ratchet mechanism with forced release for standard-compliant pressing pressure, and ergonomic 2-component handles. It comes completely equipped with hardened, precise press profile inserts. The weight, including three press profile inserts, is only 690 g. The automotive press-fit inserts include No. 10 6010 (for insulated cable lugs from 0.5 mm² to 6 mm²), No. 10 6011 (for non-insulated cable lugs from 0.5 mm² to 10 mm²), and No. 10 6013 (for flat receptacles and flat plugs with open crimp claws from 0.5 mm² to 6 mm²).
