They impress with effective protection against overload, overheating and deep discharge thanks to special electronics. With a battery capacity of 12 Ah in the 18 volt circuit, they offer a very long runtime. Their robust housing and shock-proof soldered battery cells make them ideal for tough construction site use. The battery is easy to transport as the cell levels are mechanically separated and the watt-hour output is below the hazardous goods class 9 level of 100 Wh. A charge status indicator with 3 LEDs makes it easy to check the battery status at the touch of a button. The XR Flexvolt batteries are compatible with all Dewalt XR cordless machines with 54 and 18 volts (except DCS 371 band saw and DCR 016, DCR 017 and Tough-Radio radios).
