The PRCD-S is a portable residual current device that switches all poles and is designed for use as an intermediate device with electronic fault current evaluation (PRCD = Portable Residual Current Device, S = safety). It is particularly suitable as a protective distributor for all portable electrical devices.

The PRCD-S detects foreign voltage on the protective conductor but does not interrupt the protective conductor connection. This allows the foreign voltage to be released through its own upstream protective devices, such as RCDs and circuit breakers.

Equipped with a highly flexible special rubber cable H07RN-F3G2.5 according to DIN VDE 0282.
