The external handle is engaged or disengaged via control of the magnetic coil (e.g., by access control system). The handle in the escape direction is always engaged. The control of the external handle is generated via GND contact using a potential-free normally closed contact (operating current) or normally open contact (standby current). Permanent engagement of the external handle (e.g., for daytime operation) is possible. Two-point locking through spring pre-tensioning after door closure.
