The SPDT3-280 170484 surge arrester from Eaton is a highly advanced accessory for distribution cabinets, specifically designed to protect end devices against transient overvoltages. This device provides effective fine protection and meets the testing class III according to IEC 61643-1+A1 as well as the SPD type T3 according to EN 61643-11. The surge arrester is suitable for use in consumer installations and allows for a high pre-fuse of up to 63 A gL / C 63. Additionally, the auxiliary switch SPC-S-HK for remote signaling can be easily added. A key advantage of this product is that no decoupling from the upstream surge protection of the consumer installation is required, simplifying installation and operation. With a discharge current of 5 kA and a nominal voltage of 280 V, the SPDT3-280 offers reliable protection for a wide range of applications.
