Einhell currently maintains one of the largest and most modern battery systems. The disadvantage of having to handle two batteries in the 36/40 volt class is easily outweighed for DIY enthusiasts by the advantage of being able to use the same batteries in the 18 volt tools and thus use them for an incredibly large number of other applications.
