RS485 Bus Gateway. Bidirectional. Standby loss only 0.3 watts. Rail-mounted device for installation on DIN-EN 60715 TH35 mounting rail. 1 division unit = 18 mm wide, 58 mm deep. Connection to the Eltako RS485 bus. Cross-wiring of bus and power supply with jumper. Operates in conjunction with FAM14 or FTS14KS. The hold terminal is connected to the FAM14 or FTS14KS. Up to 16 RS485 sensors BUTH55ED/12VDC, BBH55E/12VDC, and BTR55EH/12VDC can be connected to the terminals RSA/RSB. Data transmission and power supply occur via a 4-wire bus with a 12V DC switching power supply. Connection can be made, for example, with standard telephone cable (J-Y (ST) Y 2x2x0.8mm2). The maximum total cable length is 1000 m. The second 120 Ohm termination resistor included with the BGW14 must be additionally connected to the terminals RSA/RSB at the most distant sensor.
