D16S: For short straight and contour cuts with a wide radius to the right and left.

Hazard warnings: Hand sheet metal shears should only be used for cutting thin sheets of soft metals or steel. They are not suitable for cutting round and angular metal shapes such as wire. Cutting tools should only be used by hand without additional aids. When working, wear safety goggles and gloves, as cut-off pieces can injure the worker and bystanders. Improper use can cause personal or material damage. For work on electrical installations, the connection to the power source must be interrupted, otherwise, an electric shock may occur. Always direct the cutting direction of shears and knives away from the body. Always place cutting tools with closed blades in a clearly visible location, with the handle facing you! Store cutting tools separately to protect the blades and your fingers! Cutting tools should be sharpened regularly. With dull cutting tools, the risk of injury increases, and more force is required for the same cutting performance.

Care instructions: Generally remove dirt. In regular intervals, depending on the degree of soiling, wipe the blade with a slightly oiled cloth (remove material dust). Regularly oil the screw connection on the inner sides of the blade. Lightly grind rusty or scratched blades with an oilstone. If the shears have too much play, adjust the screw (the shears should still open and close easily).
