D216: For continuous straight and contour cuts, handles are painted.
D218: For long straight and continuous cuts, the extra-long blade is ideal for cutting through sheet metal.

Hazard warnings: Hand sheet metal shears should only be used for cutting thin sheets of soft metals or steel. They are not suitable for cutting round and square metal shapes such as wire. Cutting tools should only be used by hand without additional aids. When working, wear safety glasses and gloves, as cut pieces can injure the worker and bystanders. Improper use can cause personal injury or property damage. For work on electrical installations, disconnect from the power source. Otherwise, an electric shock may occur. Always direct the cutting direction of scissors and knives away from the body. Always place cutting tools with the blades closed in a visible location. The handle should point towards you! Store cutting tools separately! This protects the blades and your fingers! Cutting tools should be sharpened regularly! Dull cutting tools increase the risk of injury and require more force for the same cutting performance.

Care instructions: Generally remove dirt. At regular intervals, depending on the level of soiling, wipe the blade with a slightly oiled cloth (remove material dust). Regularly oil the screw connection on the inside of the blade. Lightly sharpen rusty or scratched blades with an oil stone. If the scissors have too much play, adjust the screw. (The scissors should still open and close easily.).
