Single row angular contact ball bearings from the FAG brand of the Schaeffler Group are self-retaining units. They feature solid inner and outer rings and ball and cage assemblies made of polyamide, sheet metal, or brass. The raceways of the inner and outer rings are offset from each other along the bearing axis. The bearings are available in open and closed versions, with limited angular adjustment direction.

Product application information indicates that a smaller bearing arrangement can be made for certain applications.
