Single row angular contact ball bearings from the FAG brand of the Schaeffler Group are self-retaining units. They feature solid inner and outer rings with ball races made of polyamide, sheet metal, or brass. The raceways of the inner and outer rings are offset along the bearing axis. These bearings are available in both open and closed versions. The angle adjustment direction is limited.

Properties and advantages include lower operating costs, reduced maintenance due to improved lubrication, lower heat generation, and less noise generation.

Information about product application: A smaller bearing arrangement can be made for certain applications. Single row angular contact ball bearings can withstand axial forces in one direction and high radial forces. They must be adjusted axially against another bearing in a mirror image arrangement.
