Four-point bearings belong to the category of single-row angular contact ball bearings and therefore require significantly less axial space compared to double-row designs. The bearings consist of solid outer rings, split inner rings, and ball circuits. The two-part inner rings allow for a large number of balls to be accommodated. The inner ring halves are tailored to the respective bearing and should not be interchanged with those of the same size. The outer ring with the ball circuit and the two inner ring halves can be installed separately. The different designs are marked by so-called suffixes: C3, C4 = clearance class, MPA = solid brass cage, TVP2 = solid plastic cage, N2 = 2 retaining grooves on the outer ring.
